Anchor Retail Park is a popular shopping destination in Hartlepool. It is home to major retail names such as Next, TK Maxx, Argos and Currys PC World.
At the retail park you'll find Next, TK Maxx and Matalan clothing stores. On the upper floor of Next is a Costa coffee shop.
The Argos store at Anchor Retail Park sells their full catalogue offer including toys, furniture, nursery goods, electricals and sports equipment.
Also here is a Boots store with a pharmacy, plus they stock health and beauty ranges, baby and nursery accessories, holiday essentials and gifts.
Currys PC World has a large showroom of home electrical and technology products. There are currently two Carphone Warehouse mobile phone stores at the retail park. There is a store between Matalan and Asda, plus a branch inside Currys.
The M&S Foodhall here stocks the Marks & Spencer food ranges, plus you can order items online for collection in-store. There is also an M&S café.
Adjacent to the retail park is a large Asda superstore, selling groceries, plus non-food ranges such as George clothing, electricals, homewares and toys. There is also an in-store Asda restaurant.
The Frankie and Benny's restaurant at the retail park has closed down.
Opening Times
Trading hours vary from store to store, but all shops are normally open 7-days-a-week.
Shops here typically open until 8pm on weekdays, until 6pm on Saturdays and from 10.30am to 4.30pm on Sundays.
Asda open 24 hours from 6am on Monday morning right through to 10pm on Saturday, then 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
Customer parking is free, with a maximum stay of 2 hours.
The retail park is part of a wider area of retail and leisure developments. Nearby is the Highpoint Retail Park, which includes Dunelm and Pets at Home. Along Marina Way, towards the town centre, is a Vue Cinema with Pizza Hut and McDonalds.
Across the road from the retail park is the National Museum of The Royal Navy at Hartlepool which includes the historic warship HMS Trincomalee.
