Moor Allerton Centre

The Moor Allerton Centre is a district shopping area and retail park in north Leeds. Shops here include Sainsburys, Argos and Homebase.

The main store at the Moor Allerton Centre is a large Sainsbury's supermarket which sells groceries plus non-food products such as Tu clothing, toys, electricals and homewares. Inside there is also a café and a Lloyds Pharmacy.

To the rear of Sainsbury's is a Homebase DIY warehouse selling all you need for home improvement projects. It also has a garden centre area and a branch of Tapi Carpets.

Opposite Sainsbury's is a retail park terrace with Argos, Habitat, Laura Ashley, Anytime Fitness, Subway and Costa Coffee. Also here is a library, Little Gym and a vet surgery.

Location details

The district centre is three miles north of central Leeds, located alongside the main Ring Road (A6120).

There are three entrances to the retail area. If travelling from the west (Horsforth, Weetwood) there is an entrance direct off the ring road. If travelling from the east (Moortown, Roundhay), there is an entrance off King Lane. There is an additional way in directly into Homebase off Black Moor Road and Saxon Road.

The centre is the terminus of buses 51 and 52 to Morley and the city centre via Meanwood.
