Switch Island Retail Park

Switch Island Retail and Leisure Park is an out-of-town shopping and leisure destination to the north of Liverpool.

The shops present here are Dunelm, Matalan and B&M Homestore.

Dunelm stock an extensive range of home and garden furnishings including bedding, curtains, lighting, furniture and storage solutions. The Dunelm store is open from 9am to 8pm Monday to Friday, to 7pm on Saturdays and from 11am to 5pm on Sundays.

Matalan offer quality affordable clothing for the family, plus homewares ranges. Their store is open from 9am to 8pm Monday to Friday, to 7pm on Saturdays and from 10.30am to 4.30pm on Sundays.

B&M Home Store is a discount retailer with an extensive offer including food & drink, health & beauty, toys, DIY, pet care and homewares. This store is opens from 8am to 9pm Monday to Saturdays and from 11am to 5pm on Sundays.

In addition the shops there is a JD Gym.

The Odeon Luxe cinema has 12 screens and has been refurbished with the latest in technology and comfort seating.

There is a large free customer car park.

Food and drink

There is a Costa café inside the Odeon cinema and a Pausa café inside Dunelm.

On the car park there is a Subway sandwich bar and a 24 hour McDonalds restaurant (both with drive thru lanes).

The site also has a Hungry Horse pub and restaurant called Bakers Dozen.

The retail park is located on the A5038 Dunnings Bridge Road in Netherton, 3 miles northeast of Bootle town centre. It is half-a-mile from the Switch Island road junction where the M58, M57 and A59 meet, from which the retail park takes its name.

The site is served by the 52A and 159 buses.
