Southampton

Hedge End’s retail warehouse area is a cluster of shopping developments on the edge of Southampton. It is home to over 30 major brands including M&S, B&Q, Next and Sainsbury’s.

Fronting onto Charles Watts Way, the Hedge End Retail Park has a large Next store selling clothing, homewares, furniture and garden ranges. Inside Next there is also an O2 mobile phone shop and a Virgin Holidays concession. Other retail names here include DFS, Dwell, Oak Furnitureland, Carphone Warehouse and Starbucks. Sainsbury's, M&S and Currys

Accessed via Charles Watts Way and Tollbar Way, the development known as Hedge End Park is home to Sainsbury's, Marks & Spencer and Currys stores (postcode SO30 2UH).

The large Sainsbury's store sells groceries plus homewares, electricals and Tu clothing. It is also home to a new Argos disgital store, plus Lloyds Pharmacy, Specsavers Opticians and a café. There is also a Sainsbury's petrol filling station. The M&S sells their full range of clothing and home furnishings. It also has an M&S foodhall and a café.

Nearby is a Currys PC World megastore with a showroom of the latest in technology and home elctricals. It also has a branch of the Carphone Warehouse. Also here is Pets at Home, which includes a Vets4Pets vet surgery and a pet grooming salon. The Homebase DIY store has closed down and the vacant unit has recently been linked in the press with becoming a Lidl supermarket.

Hedge End Trade Park and Bradbeers Retail Park

Located on Tollbar Way, the Hedge End Trade Park (postcode SO30 2JN) is home to several well known retail brands. These include Halfords, Ponden Home, Topps Tiles and American Golf. Also here are KFC, McDonalds and Pizza Hut.

Nearby, Bradbeers Retail Park has Bradbeers Furniture, Smyths Toys, Carpetright, Harveys, Bensons for Beds and Burger King. The postcode for this development is SO30 2QY.

On its own site across the road is a TK Maxx store which also incorporates the TK Maxx homewares brand called Homesense.

Along Botley Road, there are some popular home improvement brands such as Wickes, Magnet and Screwfix. There is also a B&Q DIY warehouse in the vicinity (postcode SO30 4HW).

The Hedge End area is also home to car showrooms for Volkswagon, Toyota and Lexus.

Opening times

Shop trading times vary. Most stores trade until 8pm on weekdays, until at least 6pm on Saturday and from either 10 to 4 or 11 to 5 on Sundays.
